TRICKLE
the newsletter of the party train gradsfund
To trickle God’s church in Western Sydney with lay and vocational Christian leaders, who are biblically and theologically mature, servant hearted, and innovative ministry strategists (maybe).

New la Capitana elected at minestrone
Following Tim Pedley’s transformation from student to Howie in a mere matter of weeks, the Party Train top dog leadership role was vacated until an extra-ordinary meeting if the 13th faculty could be held, with Matt Moffitt seizing power in the interim.
At minestrone, with krispy kreme’s all round, Sonia Chan was elected as the Party Train’s first ever la Capitanà!

Luke Back in Sydney
“G'day Euers,

This is a notice to say that I'm heading back for my first visit to
Sydney for the weekend of 25th -26th March (i.e. just over a week away).
I'm going to be heading to St Johns Ashfield (Katay's church) for the 8am service on the Sunday. If any of you are in the area and are keen to catch up, then come on over. Don't worry, I've pre-warned Andrew and I've only invited about 30 of us along. The address is Alt Street (cnr Church Street) Ashfield, NSW

ALSO

I'm starting a Christian section on my website that contains my
testimony, an explanation of my christian beliefs and a section on tough questions. It's a similar idea to the God's World DVD but only a lot smaller. I'll pretty much just doing some video recordings in front of the computer.
This will have a few purposes:
- help with my witness at work and in Geelong. I've had some great conversations with my boss and some work mates. They frequently look at my website, so it's a non threatening way to share more of my faith with them.
- Help me think through and be sure of the things I believe.
- Be a useful way for other christians (such as yourself) to
discuss with me my understanding of theological ideas and to make sure I'm not a heretic.
I'll be building it over a period of month or so, make sure you check it out once in a while. http://homepage.mac.com/lmcseveny/
Thanks for your prayers. I Hope to see some of you on the 25th,

Luke McSeveny”
